Fireworks - July 24th

The night of July 24th, we went up to the Cottonwood Heights Rec Center at Butler Elementary for the fireworks. Here are some pictures of us waiting for the fireworks to start.

Darla's Family - Silver Lake

Here are some pictures we took up at Silver Lake with my family. The only ones missing in the pictures were, unfortunately, my sweet Dad and my brother-in-law, Jeremy. We really missed my Dad not being able to come out with Mom and Tammy to visit. Next time, though.............

Silver Lake - July 24th

While my Mom and little sister, Tammy, were out here visiting us for 2 weeks in July we took them up to Silver Lake on the 24th of July. It was GORGEOUS!! Here are some pictures I took.

Baca Kids at the Expo Center

I took these pictures of my sister's cute kids that same night at the Expo Center. They had a few clowns walking around making balloon animals, etc, for the kids. The top picture to the left is little Kayla. The top middle picture is Tylor facing me and Chayton with his back to me. They were sword fighting. The top right picture is Jorden (Monkey). The bottom picture is Chayton. Are they cute kids?

Matt and I had the pleasure of having my Mom and little sister, Tammy, come to visit us for 2 weeks from South Carolina. They flew in on the evening of July 16th and left the morning of July 30th. It was a very enjoyable time we got to spend with them. On the night of July 22nd, we went to the South Towne Expo Center to see all of the floats that were in the parade on the 24th. Here are some pictures of those floats. They were pretty cool!!

Still the 4th of July Weekend

OK...........So I'm totally behind on posting on the blog! You'll have to bare with me for a bit while I get caught up. The last month has been a little crazy busy..............but very fun and enjoyable!

Anyway.............to cap off our 4th of July weekend, Matt and I had my sister and her family over for dinner that Sunday night which was a lot of fun! Matt went and bought Rockband for our PS3 on Saturday so we could play it with the kids. They had a BALL playing all evening!! The 'big' boys had just as much fun as the little ones, too! :)

Of course, after dinner Pauline and I had to try it out, too! They couldn't have all the fun!

My sweet little nephew, Jorden, loves to help out! He was helping me at the counter while I was making dinner. In the picture to the right, he's showing me how he can blow bubbles in his sippy cup! What a cute kid!
