Cruise 2010 - January 31, 2010 (2)

Here are some more pictures of the ship from our first day.

This is another shot of the rock climbing wall and the basketball/volleyball court up on the Sports Deck.

This is actually a rollerblading area......also on the Sports Deck.

The rocking climbing wall, taken from a lower deck looking up.

Here are a couple of pictures of one of the MANY dining rooms/entertainment areas.

This is the Game Room....which was also located on the Sports Deck....just inside from where the basketball/volleyball court, miniature golf, and the rock climbing all were. They had board games, card games, etc. that you could come and play.....and tables to play on. On the days that we were at sea it was very crowded! :)

Another couple of shots of the Sports Deck.

As we were exploring, we happened to come upon a little chapel. It was very small, but it was pretty.

I actually got quite a kick out of the fact that there was actually a Bridal Changing Room. (Actually, it was more like a Bridal Changing CLOSET....but whatever works, I guess, right?) And there actually was a bride and groom who did get married on the ship one of the days that we were at sea. :)

The dock.

These next few pictures were taken as we were going up one of the many elevators, looking down.

One of the many elevators. Even the elevators were very elegant and beautiful! :) This picture also shows that there were quite a few floors. (I don't remember how many, but it was a HUGE ship!)

This floor was one of my favorite on the ship. It was built and decorated to look very much like a small Main Street in some little town somewhere. You walk down the 'street' and there are little shops to stop in and buy things and little cafe's/restaurants to grab a bite to eat in. We enjoyed going with different friends in our group to grab a snack every once in a while at one of the little cafe's that was open 24/7 and/or to just sit and chat and/or play cards, etc. It was very cool! They also had entertainment going on almost all the time, too, and at night there was dancing in the 'street' and karaoke, etc.

This was actually one end of the 'Main Street' Floor. There were elevators on either side and stairs, with The Savoy Theater on the deck below.......which we enjoyed a few shows in that week.

Here's a picture of Matt and I at the other end of the 'Main Street' Deck.

Another shot of one of the elevators, this time looking up from the lower deck.

The 'Main Street' Deck.

Still more to come.....
