Cruise 2010 - January 31, 2010 (3)

These are the rest of the pictures that were taken on our first day on the ship as we were exploring and checking everything out while we were waiting to pull out of the dock in LA:

This is a picture of some of the decorations along the walls outside one of the many open lounges as we were walking along the ship.

This is one of the walls as you are walking into the Casino.

There were 2 entrances into the Casino, one from each end of the room. Both of the pictures above and below were taken as you were entering the Casino from one of the 2 entrances. The picture below is actually in the floor as you are walking in....you actually walk right over it. It's glass enclosed with these decorations in it and, seriously, it FREAKED me OUT everytime I walked over it for like the entire first half of the trip. LOL I felt like I was stepping on something I wasn't supposed to be stepping on!

This is the entrance into the Dining Room our group ate dinner in every night, the "Rhapsody In Blue". The following are pictures that were taken in that same Rhapsody in Blue Dining Room. It was absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I fell in LOVE with it the minute we first stepped foot inside to check it out!

This was our dining table that we were assigned to eat at every night. We had the BEST waiter, from the Phillipines! He was awesome....a really great guy! Our group actually had 3 tables that we were assigned to, all right close together on the main floor. Matt and I actually ended up switching tables several times to sit with different people. We had a ton of fun trying out all of the food and laughing and having a great time with everyone! :)

There were several different theaters on board the ship as well, for different shows that were going on all week long. This is the Savoy Theater, which is the one we spent the most time in watching some really great shows every night.

The outside of The Savoy Theater.

This is up on deck of the ship...these are windows to rooms....above the helicopter pad. We actually had a room with a window, which was really cool, but our room was located at the side of the ship.

One more of the dock.

The helicopter pad.

That was a very exciting day as we boarded the ship and ran around checking it all out, anticipating the fun and exciting adventures were about to embark on and the fun places we were going to see in the next few days!
