Tuesday, January 11, 2011: The 4 of us got up early enough to get to Epcot shortly after it opened and we spent the whole day there. I really enjoyed it a lot because I love to travel and explore other lands and nations. It was fun to 'travel the world' for a day!
These first few pictures were taken as we were walking from the parking lot to the entrance gates.

Not far inside the gates, we saw the
"Jammitors" jamming it out on their
garbage cans. They were pretty good....especially the older guy in the middle! We stopped and watched them perform for a few minutes before moving on.

One of the first things we did was go on the
Test Track ride. It was really cool! This picture was taken inside the building as we were waiting in line to get on. They had the history of
cars and how far they've changed and evolved over the years. This is one of the first models.

As we came off the ride.....this is what we saw. Super cool! :)

There was also a display of current
cars that we see on the road today. Matt fell in love with this one....the
Ford Mustang. :)

These are just some random shots of
Epcot as we were walking from the main entrance area back to the
countries.

Matt and
I.

Since it was still so close to Christmas, they still had their
Christmas Tree up.

These are some pictures of the different
countries taken from afar, across the lake, as we were walking to get to them.

Seagull.

The next few pictures were taken in
Canada. We have a brother-in-law on Matt's side of the family who is from
Canada. I have never been to
Canada myself, but I would like to go someday.

These next pictures are from the
United Kingdom...another place I haven't visited yet, but hope to someday in the future. I was supposed to spend Spring Break my senior year of high school (I was living in Germany at the time) in
London, but it fell through and I never did get to go.

I think these
phone booths are so cool looking! :)

Alice in Wonderland. I was trying to get a picture of
Alice, which was hard to do without having children in the picture since there was a line of families all wanting to get pictures taken with her. I don't know these kids, but I thought the picture was actually really cute. :)
I took these pictures of France as we were coming over the bridge into the "country". I was SUPER excited! I LOVE France! I have a soon-to-be brother-in-law from Bretnagne, France....and I've been to Paris twice. I was able to spend New Year's Eve my senior year of high school, 1995, at the Eiffel Tower with my friends. It was definitely a trip that I will NEVER forget....some really great memories!

These 2 pictures are of
Pepe Le Pew's girlfriend.....Does she have a name? Penelope?
Update: I stand corrected. These pictures are actually of Marie, from The Aristocats. (To be honest, I'm not sure I've even seen that one!) :)

More pictures of
France.

I took this picture of the
Bretagne flag for my brother-in-law,
Xavier. :)

Of course, we had to go into the little
French Bakery and check it out. We even got a couple
chocolate eclairs as a treat. So YUMMY!!

This is the
French restaurant we had lunch in. It was so incredibly YUMMY!!

These pictures are included to more or less show what my new hairdo looks like. I love both the darker color and the shorter length! :)

The waiter in the 2 pictures above went around the restaurant with
"Little Chef" from the movie
"Ratatouille". This picture is of
"Little Chef". So cute! As you can imagine, the kids in the restaurant went nuts over him! :)

More pictures of the restaurant.

At this point, we left
France and went to
Morocco. These pictures are of
Morocco.
